Th’Goodside
Th’Goodside, formerly known as BLISS, are a band from Ōrewa, Auckland. Though they fit into the alternative rock band genre, you’ll notice a blues and funk influence should you ever catch them live (which you should as they are fantastic live).
Members of Th’Goodside are Harry Le Cheminant (vocals), Visko Bryers (Drums), Oliver Wallace-Pram (Lead Guitar). Evan Fairgrey (Bass), and Grant Heyns (Rhythm Guitar).
To date, they have played on bills that include The Feelers, The Butlers, Marmalade Skies, Jordan Luck Band, Double Parked, and Summer Thieves. I first caught them live at Totara Street in Mount Maunganui, followed by a show at The Palace Tavern, also in Mount Maunganui, then at Galatos in Auckland. The latter shows were part of their November and December 2024 tour to mark the release of their debut EP Close to Home. The EP features the tracks If Only, Feel, Pearl, Get Mine, and Always with me.
