My favourite tracks by The Feelers: They come from Supersystem, the debut album released in 1998, and are Venus and Space Cadet. In truth, I could list half a dozen or more from The Feelers’ next three albums that followed Supersystem: Communicate (2001), Playground Battle (2003), One World (2006). If you’ve yet to hear The Feelers (the band was formed in Christchurch by James Reid and Hamish Gee) then start with Supersystem. It’s one hell of an album and one of the finest that came out of New Zealand in the mid to late 1990s.
