Ekko Park band members are lead singer and guitarist Joe Walsh, guitarist Jessie Booth, and drummer Nick Douch. The band has released three albums Tomorrow Tomorrow Today (2013), Know Hope (2015), and Horizon (2020). The Auckland based band has played major New Zealand festivals Homegrown, and Rhythm & Vines, and been nominated for the Best Rock Band at the 2014 and 2021 Aotearoa Music Awards.
In 2023 they supported The Jordan Luck Band, taking in Totara Street live music venue in Mount Maunganui, which is where I caught them, having photographed them in the past on two occasions at the same venue. Ekko Park have also toured in Europe - in Italy, Ireland, and the UK. In May 2024 they released an E.P, which included singles Outrun the Rain, and Today’s My Day. To mark the E.P release, the band played at Big Fan in Morningside, Auckland, where they were supported by Where’s Jai and Fan Club.
