The Darlings
The Darlings are a five-piece band based in Mount Maunganui, New Zealand. They released their debut single Spaceship in 2022 and launched their EP Crime in December 2023, with a performance at Totara Street in Mount Maunganui. The Darlings returned to Totara Street in November 2024 ahead of playing at Le Currents in Taupo for the second year in a row. If you’re into a blend of funk, indie and rock, you should check them out. Band members are Amelie, Jade, Spencer, and Felix. In January 2025 they supported Pineja! at Totara Street, whilst in May 2025 they toured New Zealand, supporting Bootleg Rascals in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, and Queenstown.
