Every photoshoot is different and is tailored to what you would like. What matters most to me is that you LOVE the photos after. I work with people from every walk of life, with many having never done anything like a personal photoshoot before.

    - My services as a photographer for 1 to 1.5 hours on site, covering location scouting and shoot time

    - Online gallery of 50 pictures (jpgs) curated and edited by me + easy download option

    - Mixture of colour and black and white pictures

    - The same pictures, but as larger files, delivered via Dropbox

    - Sneak peek pictures provided within 24 hours of the shoot ending

    - Package is for photography only in Tauranga, Mount Maunganui, Papamoa, Waihi Beach. Out of area options are Bay of Plenty (E.g Rotorua, Whakatane), Hamilton, and Auckland. Out of area additional price is $250. Total: $725.

Ready to book your personal photoshoot in Tauranga? Here are a few FAQ to check out

Are the portraits taken in a studio?

I mainly work in non-studio environments. These can range from a beach, to a field, to a street, to someone’s home.

A ‘photoshoot’ sounds glamorous, like from the movies or a magazine - is that the case?

In short, no, in that there won’t be a hair and make up artist standing by, doing touch ups in between shots, and a wardrobe and an expensive location. But, and here’s the but, the focus you get from me the photographer, will be no different to any photoshoot. Plus, it’s a lot less stressful than a big, conventional photoshoot. Friends and family are all welcome to come along, but all good if you’d prefer them not to come.

Do you do both colour and black and white pictures?

Yes, not a problem. Most clients like a mix of both. Please don’t hesitate to say though if you prefer to have more black and white pictures than colour, and vice versa.

Are personal photoshoots for anyone?

Yes, literally anyone.

Can friends and family attend the shoot too?

Of course! More the merrier?

What about hair and make up, and clothing?

These, I live with you. Your hair and make up is completely up to you. You can turn up as however you wish. If that means, not wearing any make up, and having messy hair, then great. I’ll still love it, and you’ll still awesome. For clothing, wear the outfit you want to. That said, it often helps to bring some options.

Do you take corporate style portraits?

I don’t take these.

Do you give direction?

Of course, not a problem at all. You won’t need to worry about this. It’s all very relaxed, low key, non-judgemental, and enjoyable. If any point you want to stop, just say. It’s very relaxed.

Do you provide prints?

Though I love creating prints, the pictures are digital files (jpgs) sent via WeTransfer or Dropbox. I curate the pictures, select the ones for post processing, and provide you with a private online gallery with a password and download PIN.

Do you sell the SD cards or sell the raw files?

The short answer is no, I don’t sell them, or provide them. The service provided is one of me curating the pictures taken, editing them, and providing those. Please don’t hesitate to ask me anything about this. Here to to help
